VFF: Conservation Innovation: Leveraging Technology to Identify Landscape Scale Conservation and Restoration Priorities in the Chesapeake

New high resolution datasets and web-based analysis tools are allowing the Chesapeake Conservancy to streamline the efforts of conservation and restoration organizations, allowing them to quickly prioritize efforts and model the potential ecosystem benefits of projects. Chesapeake Conservancy is working to integrate these new data and tools into Chesapeake Bay restoration efforts, aiming to improve water quality while helping direct conservation and restoration projects using market based solutions.
