VFF: QDA Software and Data Visualization for Art Historical Analysis

To work with and make meaning of a set of 500 satirical images and 50 pieces of theatrical and panoramic writing, I've been working with qualitative data analysis software, in particular nVivo. This presentation charts my journey through the land of qualitative data analysis and data visualization, and will demonstrate how this figures into my dissertation project, "Art, Commerce, and Caricature: Satirical Images of Artistic Life in Paris, 1750-1850."
