Global Development Career Day & Recruiting Fair at the University of Virginia [Registration required]

The University of Virginia, along with the MetroLink DC consortium (Duke University, Swarthmore College, and Yale University) is excited to announce this special event held in partnership with the Society for International Development-Washington DC chapter. The Global Development Career Day & Recruiting Fair is an opportunity for students who are interested in international development careers to meet with organizations and institutional members working in the industry.
The program will consist of a panel "Entry Points into Global Development" presentations, and an exhibitor showcase.The opening panel will be on the topic of "Entry Points in Global Development" and feature the following panelists:

-Robin Uncapher, Global Communities

-Dan Stein, IDinsight

-Kirsten Gelsdorf, currently at Batten School at UVA; formerly the Chief for Policy
Analysis and Innovation for the U.N.'s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian
Affairs

-Karen Grossman, World Teach

Students of all majors are welcome. Students who register will need to provide their own transportation to-and-from the event.
