8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

A fourteen-year-old girl held in thrall by her feckless father is at the center of The Wild Duck. Ibsen's innovative symbolism and touching portrayal of young Hedvig make this classic drama one of his most performed plays. Attempting to free Hedvig's father from the lies supporting their happy home life, an idealistic friend's efforts have tragic results, raising the question: Should truth be pursued whatever the cost? Theater Studies professor Jody McAuliffe directs an undergraduate cast in Ibsen's profoundly moving play.
