The event brings together significant themes of Eastern European Jewish history. "The Personal and the Political: Jews in Poland after the Holocaust" will feature papers by Karen Auerbach, assistant professor and the Stuart E. Eizenstat Fellow in History at UNC-Chapel Hill and Batya Knebel, alumna of GLS. Martin Miller, Professor of History at Duke, will moderate. Light reception following.
