Dr. Cecilia Ong & Dr. Gita Suneja
Global Reproductive Health Speaker Series

Globally, non-communicable diseases (NCD), including cancer, kill more than 36 million people annually, and 80% of these deaths occur in low and middle-income countries. The perceived high cost of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgical care has long been a barrier to the development of robust multidisciplinary care in LMIC. Our speakers will highlight past and current efforts to address the need for oncologic care in Haiti and Botswana.

Lunch will be provided. This event is part of the Global Reproductive Health Speaker Series. It is sponsored in partnership with the Duke Global Health Institute (DGHI).
