Film Screening: "Bandhobi" (Shin Dong-Il, 2009, 107 min, South Korea, in Korean with English subtitles, Color, DVD) -- A breakthrough South Korean indie film, "Bandhobi" tells the story of a frustrated and rebellious high school student who ends up becoming friends with a migrant worker from Bangladesh who is desperate to receive his unpaid back wages. The title means "female friend" in Bengali.
