An Evening with Governor Ed Rendell

The Duke Political Union welcomes Edward G. Rendell, former Governor of Pennsylvania, to speak at Duke on Tuesday, December 3rd from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in Sanford 05. Prior to serving eight years as Governor, Rendell served two terms as Mayor of Philadelphia and held the title of General Chairman of the Democratic National Committee during the 2000 presidential election. In 2012, he published "A Nation of Wusses: How America's Leaders Lost the Guts to Make Us Great." The event is co-sponsored by the Public Policy Majors Union and the Sanford School of Public Policy, and it is free and open to the public.
