The ancestors of today¿s lemurs are thought to have made their way to Madagascar by drifting across the ocean from Africa more than 60 million years ago. Once there, they eventually flourished and diverged into the more than 100 species of lemurs we recognize today. Learn more about how lemurs made their way against all odds, and the new challenges that threaten them today, with Dr. Anne Yoder, Director of the Duke Lemur Center.
