12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Mark Schnitzer, PhD, Associate Professor of Biological Sciences and of Applied Physics, Stanford University
Neurobiology Invited Seminar Series

Dr. Schnitzer is developing novel ways of imaging the nervous system in behaving animals, with the goal of watching neurons at work and understanding neural circuit dynamics in healthy and diseased brains. The ultimate goal is to understand normal cognitive and disease processes at the level of neural circuits, with emphasis on learning and memory processes. Dr. Schnitzer is also an Investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute.
