Join us for an event organized by Anne-Maria Makhulu (Cultural Anthropology and AAAS) and Clare Counihan (Visiting Research Scholar, Women's Studies). This two-day interdisciplinary conference coincides with the twentieth anniversary of South African democracy and serves as an invitation to critical reflection on the continuities and discontinuities with South Africa's colonial and apartheid past.
