Light lunch will be served. | About the lecture: Gong will review the evolution of social policy over the past 30 more years in China from an inclusive perspective and identify policy direction in the near future. The speaker will also examine the ongoing reform programmes in the social field under the new leadership to address the chronic problems regarding education, health care, housing and pensions. | About the speaker: Sen Gongis Research Fellow and Deputy Director-General for Social Development Department of Development Research Centre of the State Council, which is an internal think-tank to the Chinese Government. His research interests include social security, health care, employment and social governance.
