Wednesday, September 03, 2014
5:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The 2014 Triangle Student Research Competition (TSRC) will feature current materials and electrochemical research of graduate students from across the Triangle. The event is structured to include two different competitions: (1) A technology demonstration competition where students will display the cool factor of their research using physical demo's to provide visual understanding. GRAND PRIZE IS A FULL TRAVEL AWARD TO UPCOMING NATIONAL MRS CONFERENCE! and (2) a poster competition with guest judges from the Universities judging the student's work with the opportunity for them to win great prizes. However, this is also a tremendous networking event for students, faculty, and organizations/industry as it features current research underway from across the Triangle. This presents opportunities for potential collaborations, networking, recruiting, and assistance in transitioning technology to industry. Instead of a registration fee, we are requesting a small $15 donation fee, all of which will go towards a local STEM charity, SciREN. Don't miss your chance to take part in this event and represent Duke!!! This event is being brought to you by the work of your local Materials Research Society (MRS) chapters and your local Triangle Electrochemical Society (ECS) chapter. Location: 12 Davis Drive, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina 27709
