Next Generation Theory of Cultural Evolution

The new models will include homophily (the preference of individuals with the same traits to meet or mate with one another), teaching as well as learning, and the sampling effects of finite population size. These models have ramifications for the comparative dynamics of human populations and their accumulation of culture.
