Elections Discussion Series, On the Issues: International Relations

The next installment of Duke University's Election Discussion Series will explore the impact issues related to international affairs are having on the upcoming midterm elections. While the President has spent the past weeks consumed with international crises, from Ebola to the beginning of a military campaign against ISIS, are these situations likely to influence campaign strategies or voter turn-out on election day? Leading the discussion on campus will be Peter Feaver, professor of political science and public policy and a former staff member for the National Security Council during President George W. Bush's adminstration. Joining from Duke in Washington will be Paul Teller (T '93), Chief of Staff to Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX). Paul is a fourteen-year veteran of Capitol Hill.
