Harriet Cook Carter Lecture - "The future of nursing in an era of health reform: Implications for the basic and nurse practitioner workforces"

Please join us for the 2015 Harriet Cook Carter Lecture at 4:00 p.m. followed by a reception in the Pearson building atrium at 5:00 p.m. Our guest speaker will be Peter I. Buerhaus, PhD, RN, FAAN, a nurse and healthcare economist well known for his studies and publications focused on the nursing and physician workforces in the United States. He is the Valere Potter Distinguished Professor of Nursing, Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Health Workforce Studies, and Professor in the Department of Health Policy in the the Institute for Medicine and Public Health, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
