"Uniqueness theorems for open Calabi-Yau manifolds"Many known examples of complete noncompact Ricci-flat manifolds are asymptotic to cones at infinity. This raises a natural boundary value problem: to find all complete Ricci-flat manifolds asymptotic to some given Ricci-flat cone. Very little is known about this question in general. I will discuss a way of answering it in the Kähler setting, which in particular leads to uniqueness theorems for some well-known Calabi-Yau spaces in terms of their asymptotic cones. Joint work with Ronan Conlon.
