Duke New Music Ensemble [dnme]

Directed by Vladimir Smirnov, [dnme] brings together undergraduate and graduate students in performing music written in the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as new works by Duke student composers. In addition, [dnme] also collaborates regularly with faculty and guest artists from the Duke University Department of Music and other institutions across North Carolina. This concert features new works by Duke graduate composers Benjamin J. Daniels, D. Edward Davis, and Vladimir Smirnov, and selections from Cardew's "Treatise."
