Islamic Studies Conference

Duke Islamic Studies Center's Spring conference, entitled "Malcolm X: Afro-American visionary, Muslim activist, will explore the intersection of religion, race, and civil rights as they relate to Malcolm X in American history, as well as the impact of these themes in our lives today. This conference will take place from 2-5pm February 20th in Rm. 240 in the John Hope Franklin Center and from 10-5:30pm on February 21st at UNC's Nelson Mandela Auditorium in the Global Fedex Center. The conference will feature top scholars in a variety of fields from across the country to give an interdisciplinary perspective into this important historical figure.Please find more information about this event at http://sites.duke.edu/malcolmx/
