Saturday, May 16, 2015
9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Expand your horizons by narrowing your view. The amazing world of detail may be found by developing your macro photography skills. Learn the best techniques and practices, ones that will get the most from your camera and lenses and create astonishing close-up images. Les Saucier, fine art photographer and educator, will introduce you to the tools of macro photography and the three major macro problems. Then he will give you multiple solutions. Lunch will be provided each day of the workshop. The workshop takes place on Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17 at 9 a.m.-3 p.m. We will try to organize a group dinner on Saturday evening (not included in fee). See examples of Les's work at www.lessaucier.com. Participant limit: 15. Qualifies for Nature Photography Certificate elective course, but participants need not be in the certificate program to register. gardens.duke.edu
