Zine Machine Printed Matter Festival

Zine Machine, Durham, North Carolina's first-ever zine fest, is coming February 20, 2015, to the Durham Armory (220 Foster St.). Zine Machine is calling all zine makers, comic artists, indy book writers, and assorted do-it-yourself printed matter makers to join us in our occupation of the old city armory for a festival of autonomous, alternative printed media. Zine Machine is part of a large and growing global zine festival movement that celebrates small-batch, self-published, personal, non-corporate, handmade printed matter of all kinds. Zine Machine is helmed by Bill Fick, Duke art professor and founder of Durham's Supergraphic; Everett Rand, co-publisher of Mineshaft; and Bill Brown, Duke film professor and publisher of Dream Whip zine.
