Maximizing Parental Involvement with Children's Education Symposium

Researchers from both the U.S. and abroad will then present and discuss some of the findings regarding parental involvement in children¿s schooling from classic and contemporary studies. They will highlight the most effective strategies parents can employ to help their children succeed in school. This will be followed by a town hall-like forum to allow for an open dialogue between members of the community and the academy. During the afternoon session the international team of researchers will discuss strategies for establishing and maintaining collaboration for further research on schooling and youth development.
