Coalition for Preserving Memory Name Reading Ceremony

Duke's Coalition for Preserving Memory invites you to join our effort to coordinate a 24-hour reading of names of genocide victims of the 20th and 21st centuries. 1944, Duke University Professor Raphael Lemkin coined the term genocide and completely altered the course of the international justice system. The Coalition for Preserving Memory (CPM) is a group dedicated to memorializing genocide victims for the 20thand 21st centuries in a way that will be relevant and meaningful for future generations. We aim to bring coalitions across campus together and create community around remembering some of the worst events in human history. Join us, as we remember humanity at its worst, to inspire humanity at its best. #neverforget #neveragain #togetherweremember
