The Power of Political Satire and the Life of a Cartoonist After Charlie Hebdo

Cartoonist Kevin "Kal" Kallaugher of The Economist Magazine and The Baltimore Sun will discuss the power of political satire, cartooning after Charlie Hebdo, and the life of a cartoonist. The cartoonist, winner of the 2015 Herblock Award as Best American Cartoonist and 2015 European Grand Prix Prize for Best European Cartoon, will draw during the event which is free and open to the public and will take place in Room 223 on Wednesday, March 25th from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.This pop-up event is sponsored by the Center for Politics and Public Leadership.
