Assi Azar is a popular, openly gay Israeli television personality. He's known for his work in several popular Israeli TV programs including The Show, Good Evening with Guy Pines, and The Champion: Locker Room. He currently co-hosts Big Brother - Israel with Erez Tal and tours internationally teaching students about the progressive nature of Israel and the LGBTQ community there. Azar's new 45 minute documentary, "Mom and Dad: I Have Something to Tell You," follows stories of coming out and the ways in which Israel may be more progressive than the United States for LGBTQ people.Light refreshments will be served.
