Learn how politics is made in Brazil. Freshly returned from his six months in Brasília, Dr. Bryan Pitts's talk will present live recordings of dramatic moments in Brazilian politics. Sharing his research in the audio archives of the Brazilian national congress, he will present a timely overview of current crises, such as constitutional reform and the lowering of the age of criminal responsibility. Come learn more about possible internships in the national congress and recent legal victories for affirmative action. A light lunch will be served.
