Technology has many sustainable benefits, such as reduced travel and paper consumption, but it also has an environmental footprint. We'll discuss the impacts of computing, from mountaintop removal to electronic waste, as well as the sustainability benefits. The workshop will focus on personal actions you can to reduce your footprint, including the Duke Green Workplace Certification.
