Gabriel Richard, violin; Kivie Cahn-Lipman, viola da gamba & lirone; Simon Martyn-Ellis, theorbo & guitar; Elliot Figg, harpsichord & organ.

French violinist Gabriel Richard is a tenure-track first violin at the Paris Orchestra, as well as founder and member of the Thymos String Quartet. He tours regularly in Japan, Korea, China, and Europe. With the Thymos Quartet, he has been invited to tour in the USA and Brazil in 2016. Gabriel Richard plays a beautiful violin by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume.

Kivie Cahn-Lipman holds degrees from Oberlin and Juilliard and is a DMA candidate at CCM. He is the founding cellist of the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) with which he performs regularly to international critical acclaim, as well as gambist, lironist, and director of ACRONYM, a new period-instrument ensemble.

Simon Martyn-Ellis has appeared throughout Europe and the US in leading performance venues and theaters with the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Concerto Köln, and others, as well as in a variety of chamber music performances. He is a founding member of new period-instrument ensemble ACRONYM.

Elliot Figg graduated from the Historical Performance Program at The Juilliard School, where he studied harpsichord with Kenneth Weiss. Also a member of ACRONYM, he is currently studying with Arthur Haas at the Yale School of Music.
