About the Book:
The Great Tradeoff: Confronting Moral Conflicts in the Era of Globalization
The last several years of worldwide economic crisis have blasted livelihoods, inspired protests, toppled governments-and high¬lighted profound moral concerns surrounding globalization. In this blend of economics, moral philosophy, history, and politics, Weisman analyzes a range of economic issues-from free trade to capital flows, bailouts, inequality, and immigration- to reach a new understanding of moral priorities in the modern market economy.
