Talking Trash: Confronting the Challenges of Marine Debris

The symposium aims to educate the audience through presentations and conversations on the latest research (on the effects of marine plastics), as well the innovative solutions are the being implemented around the world to prevent the continued degradation of our coastal and marine environments. The all-day symposium will include a catered morning snack and lunch. We are planning for three to four speakers during the morning session. After lunch, a similar format of presentations and discussions will follow. The speakers are from various sectors including, public, private, and nonprofit.
