Katherine Hobbs Knutson, MD, MPH is an adult and child psychiatrist who has practiced clinically in integrated primary care and behavioral health settings since 2012. She graduated from Duke University with a BS in biology and chemistry before earning her MD at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. After completing an adult psychiatry residency and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Massachusetts General and McLean Hospitals, she earned her MPH at the Harvard School of Public Health. In 2014 she provided consultation to the Massachusetts Medicaid program on state healthcare and payment reform initiatives, including capitated payments for the Patient Centered Medical Home in primary care and Health Homes for individuals with serious mental illness. She has conducted research on integrated care delivery systems and state telephone consultation programs for primary care clinicians treating individuals with mental health problems. For grand rounds, Dr. Hobbs Knutson will discuss innovative integrated care delivery and financing programs for youth.
