Power to the People: Tackling Energy Inequality through Clean Energy Solutions
APPLY BY SEPT. 30 to compete to develop the best solutions for unequal energy access at home and abroad using case analysis and storytelling skills.The 100 undergraduate students will be divided into 10-20 teams with each team having a faculty mentor to help develop a story and a business case solution for domestic and international issues of access to energy. The teams will compete for prizes and will be judged by a panel of faculty and industry experts. During the Winter Forum, students will explore issues of unequal access to energy, clean energy solutions and energy policies with faculty from across Duke's campus as well as outside guests. In addition, sessions will be offered that will enhance students' storytelling and presentation skills. The deadline to submit an application is 5 pm on Friday, September 30th.
