NASHER CREATES: ADULT STUDIO WITH JIMMY FOUNTAIN AND CARRIE ALTER

Enjoy this evening at the Nasher choosing between two local artists presenting two different workshops.

The first is a workshop with New York photographer Jimmy Fountain, who will bring his 4×5 camera for a talk and demonstration. Inspired by the "Burk Uzzle: Southern Landscapes" exhibition, Fountain will share how photographers use large-format cameras in landscape photography - Ansel Adams, Stephen Shore, Joel Sternfeld, Burk Uzzle and more. Learn about view camera photography and stay for a drink at the cash bar.

The second is with local artist Carrie Alter. Alter will work with participants to draw and discover in this no-pressure program meant for visitors of all abilities, including novices. Explore new techniques while you enjoy a drink from the cash bar.
