Here's some information about the course: Delivered in convenient self-paced units on a responsive online course platform, this course guides you through the steps of infusing critical thinking into your courses. Developed by Linda B. Nilson, PhD, director of the Office of Teaching Effectiveness and Innovation for Clemson University, this online course teaches you how to formulate critical thinking-related student learning outcomes, design learning activities and assignments that will help students achieve increasingly advanced outcomes through your course, and assess your students' critical thinking skills using both objective items and student-created work. This program is organized into an introduction, four units, and a conclusion. In each unit, you'll find one or two video presentations, a question for group discussion or self-reflection, a check on learning to assess how you're doing, readings and other supplemental materials, and at the conclusion of the program you'll find a final check on learning and a bibliography.
