Rebecca Turecky, Certified Nurse Midwife from Costa Rica
Gender Wednesday Series

How can I make the most of my time at Duke?
What am I going to do after graduation?
What does it mean to be a feminist in the 21st century?
How can studying gender and sexuality help me find a career path?
Who can I talk to about what I really love to do?

In today's world of new political configurations and shrinking choices for many, the Gender Wednesday lunches aim to widen our sense of possibilities. Aimed specifically towards undergraduates, we want to build an ongoing conversation that helps us explore the many and varied ways of having an impact on our world.

Come have conversations with these people and other like-minded students, share your ideas and dreams with them, let this little pocket of the Durham community help you figure out how to follow your heart. Fabulous lunches (from the hip new Durham food scene) served after the lecture.

Upcoming Gender Wednesday Series - October 19, November 2, November 16, November 30
