Intercultural Communication: Pedagogical strategies for language teachers

In this 90-minute workshop participants will:

¿ Learn changing conceptions of the teaching of intercultural competence drawing on the work of Fred Dirven (2011; 2016).

¿ Dialogue with peers about ways to develop the intercultural competence of their students.
¿ Explore ways to use art and dance in the development of interculturality of students.

¿ Explore ways to use social media to develop intercultural communicative competence and "liquid" conceptions of cultural practices
