ECE Seminar

Qualcomm is the leader in wireless communications and mobile SoCs, and is the largest fabless semiconductor producer in the world, selling more than a billion chips a year. This seminar will present Qualcomm's experiences and challenges developing leading-edge VLSI ASIC SoCs using modern CAD tools and techniques. We will also discuss new grad experiences and student opportunities at Qualcomm in an open Q&A format, in addition to general industry and technology questions.

Presenters:
Michael Kelley is a Principal Engineering Manager for Centriq SoCs at Qualcomm. Mike graduated from University of Michigan with a BSE in Computer and Electrical Engineering in 1996, and a MSE from UM specializing in VLSI design in 1997.

Ryan Clark is a Physical Design Engineer for Centriq SoCs at Qualcomm. Ryan graduated from UNM with a BSE in Electrical Engineering in 2010, and a MEng from Duke University in 2012.

John Ingalls is a Digital Logic Design Engineer for Snapdragon and Centriq CPUs at Qualcomm. Ingalls graduated from the ECE program at Duke University with a BSE in 2011 and a MEng in 2012.
