Sister to Sister and Wind Down Wednesday : Sanitizing the Unsanitary

Society has socialized female-identifying individuals to feel ashamed and embarrassed by their natural bodily processes. This idea of shame permeates multiple spheres of their existence including their religious life. This program will look at the way that society has taken a natural process and overtly sanitized it and weakened it. Women will learn to reclaim their cycles and address stereotypes head on.
