Media & Different Perspectives on Financial Regulation

The next Rethinking Regulation seminar features Lee Reiners, Director of the Duke Global Financial Markets Center. His talk is entitled, "Different Perspectives: how the public's view of the role of financial regulation differs from the regulators' view and how the media contributes to this difference." Part of the talk will be spent discussing an incident that occurred while he was at the NY Fed and that later was the focus of a This American Life episode.
