Speakers: 2016-2017 Duke University Center for International and Global Studies' Graduate Working Groups

Duke graduate students will join in a panel to share interesting aspects of their topical working groups, which are sponsored* by Duke University Center for International & Global Studies. Included are representatives from Arctic Boundaries, Forest Elephant, Humor & Politics, Global Environmental Health & Energy, and Informed Choices for Equitable Development. These interdisciplinary groups, each comprised of students from an array of graduate programs and professional schools, meet several times per semester to discuss topics with a global focus and to share their research. During the 2016 - 2017 Academic Year, DUCIGS is hosting eighteen different groups. This event is presented by the John Hope Franklin Center and the Duke University Center for International and Global Studies. A light lunch will be served. Parking is available in nearby Trent Rd. and Erwin Rd. parking decks. The series provides 1 hour parking vouchers to guests.
