Join us for a special screening of recent student and community-made films from the West Bank with a discussion led by Professor Nadia Yaqub, Associate Professor in the Department of Asian Studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Introduction by Nancy Kalow, Instructor at the Center for Documentary Studies and longtime co-chair of the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival's Selection Committee.

¿ "The Living of the Pigeons," (2015, 15 min.)
by Baha Abu Shanab of the Dar al-Kalima University College of Arts & Culture: an observational film about day laborers going through an Israeli checkpoint.

¿ "What Will You Do When You Go Back to Your Village?" (2016, 4 min.)
by the Mohammad Al-Azza and the Lajee Center Media Group: residents of the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem reflect on what they would do if they could return to their villages.

¿ "Reporter Suspended" (2015, 5 min.)
directed by Sanabel Ibrahim, Renad Nasser and Salam Yahya of Al-Quds University. A kid's view of media coverage in Palestine.
