Whether you pursue an academic or non-academic career, one of the benchmarks of success as a PhD researcher is publishing in the right journals. In this workshop, Emily Mazure, MSI, AHIP, will show attendees factors to consider when picking a journal, such as audience and potential visibility. Please bring your laptop for hands-on learning. Specifically, we will learn:

- How to review an unknown journal to determine if it is a reliable and trustworthy place to publish.
- How to register for an ORCID ID to ensure your work is recognized as yours.
- What altmetrics are and how to find them for your work.
