Open House at Duke Teaching Observatory

This Open House is one in a series of public observations we are holding during the spring semester. This is an open public event, and anyone can come anytime between 7 pm and 9 pm. You will have an opportunity to use one of our 10" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes to look at objects in our solar system (Venus, Mars and Uranus will be above the horizon) and the deep sky objects like multiple star systems, open star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies.
New!! Duke undergraduate students interested in joining us at Open House can participate in a trial Uber Events program. To receive an Uber code good for a free ride to and from the observatory contact Yuriy Bomze or Ronen Plesser directly.
