Duke Earth Hour
Sponsor(s): Sustainable Duke
During last year's Earth Hour, people from a record-breaking 178 countries turned off their lights in support of climate action. We hope this year on March 25th at 8:30 PM you will join a global movement by turning off your non-essential lights to help bring awareness of climate change and the need for strong global action.
Earth Hour 2017 comes at a critical moment. Science tells us the decisions we make in the next few years will largely shape our collective future and our ability to stave off the worst impacts of climate change. All of us have a role to play. Earth Hour relies on you to send a clear message of commitment and bring awareness to this global issue.
