LIVE FOR LIFE @ Duke Medicine Tobacco Free Anniversary Event

Tobacco cessation
Friday, July 14, 2017
11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Location: Duke Medicine Pavilion Greenway, between the Cancer Center and DMP. Celebrate the 10th year since Duke pledged to become a tobacco-free Health System in July 2007. Visit the Duke Farmers Market from 11:00 to 2:00pm to learn about LIVE FOR LIFE's Tobacco Cessation Program with free resources for benefits-eligible employees and their dependents, and to learn about the history of the tobacco-free ordinance at Duke. Learn from members of the community such as Sustainable Duke and Keep Durham Beautiful, and find out what other free resources are available through Durham County Government and the NC Quitline. Enjoy interactive games, be entered in a raffle for prizes, and test your tobacco knowledge to celebrate the anniversary at the Duke Farmers Market!

Interested in helping us with our annual cigarette butt cleanup before the event on Friday? Contact Diane Dunder at 919.681.0529 or email diane.dunder@duke.edu to be a part of the voluntary cleanup on the Health System Campus from 7:30 to 9:00am on the morning of Friday, July 14th.
