us to explore policy's role in changing the global energy system at home
and abroad. Moderated by Jackson Ewing of energy and climate policy at th
e Nicholas Institute for Energy\, Environment & Sustainability. Nicholas
Institute experts Elizabeth Losos and Liilnna Teji will also speak. Space

ed in energy but don't know where to start? Duke University's Power Up se
ries will introduce you to current issues and trends in this rapidly evol
ving sector.\n\nAs climate change and its impacts intensify\, the decarbo
nization of energy systems is a pressing priority for humanity. How is th
e global transition to clean energy unfolding so far in the United States
? And throughout the world? What will inform the future trajectory of thi
s transformation? Duke has a lot of smart people working on these questio

two sessions! Students are highly encouraged to attend both sessions\, b
ut it's also okay to sign up for only one if your schedule doesn't allow
for both.\n\nThese sessions are open to any Duke undergraduate or graduat
