Recognizing and Mitigating Research-related Trauma Workshop

Research can involve data, interviews, experiments and more that can be deeply troubling or even painful to the researcher. Researchers may encounter ethical dilemmas or violence in the process of collecting data. This workshop helps researchers identify and manage the effects of traumatic experiences related the work. This workshop is lead by staff from the Counseling and Psychological Service office and Sanford School faculty.
PHD STUDENTS EARN 2 RCR CREDITS for participating. Faculty, staff and postdocs are also welcome. Light refreshments will be served. Sponsored by the Sanford School PhD program, the Sanford Committee on Diversity and Inclusion, and the Duke Graduate School
