StartupConnect Networking Fair

Join us for this informal networking event! Students from all schools at Duke University are welcome to visit with startup employer representatives, many of whom are Duke alumni. This is a great place to bring your questions about what its like to work at a startup, learn more about opportunities at startups, and find internship and career opportunities. No dress code required.

The fair is hosted by the Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative, the Pratt School of Engineering, the Career Center and the Fuqua School of Business.

Every year at our networking fair, over 400 Duke students from across the university meet with dozens of startup employers on campus to learn more about their startups, startup culture, and opportunities in entrepreneurship.

The evening starts with an introduction to the 30+ startup companies, who bring experience from their current work to provide advice and opportunities to students seeking internships and full-time jobs.

Immediately following students have the opportunity to meet with startup founders and representatives, many of whom are Duke alumni.

The informal setting allows students and startups to exchange ideas, questions, and learn more about internships and career opportunities. Students will also be able to sign up for follow up interviews held on campus with interested employers.
