Sanford Stand For Series

Join the Sanford School of Public Policy and Polis: Duke's Center for Politics for a virtual conversation with Asha Curran, Co-Founder and CEO of GivingTuesday, who will share insights as a pioneer in the global generosity movement.

Together, we will explore: What is the significance of charitable giving in the midst of a global pandemic? How has re-imagining philanthropy made it possible to meet needs that often go unmet in the face of political challenges like partisan polarization and legislative gridlock?

This fall semester at Duke University, the Sanford School of Public Policy is organizing a signature virtual (online) speaker series to explore important policy conversations to move forward democracy, justice, equity, community, strategy and humanity, in honor of our school's founder Terry Sanford.
