Nature Networks: How We Connect to Nature

We connect to nature in a variety of ways - intellectually, kinesthetically, emotionally, and spiritually in this in-person class Nicolette L. Cagle, Ph.D. lecturer in environmental science & policy at Nicholas School of the Environment. She will guide you through activities that explore your own intellectual, kinesthetic, emotional and spiritual connection to nature. She will also draw from schools of environmental education to show you how to share nature with others. Classes will be held entirely outdoors in Duke Gardens and the Duke Forest.

Cagle is also director for the Nicholas School's Undergraduate Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and works with its communications studio and its Environmental Science Summer Program. And she works with the Diversity & Equity in Environmental Programs (DEEP) Collaborative.
